20 artifacts part II

These are WWII submarines that would have been seen during the war (until they went under the water)

 

This is a military knife that would have been used by army soldiers, like the dirty dozen, during the war

 

This is a Nazi coin from 1940. As you can see there is a swastika which was the sign for 

Nazis all across Europe, so this is something that anybody near Nazi- occupied Germany would see

 These are German coins from the thirties and forties. They would have been seen a lot by prisoners based in Germany, like major Reisman’s team.

 This is a Stalingrad air force (or Luftwaffe) permit during 1942-1943. This would have been seen along with German air force officers be other prisoners working in Germany.

These binoculars would have been very useful to Major Reisman and his crew in “The Dirty Dozen.”
